Beszámoló Egy kis lépés…
I know that Duolingo won't make me fluent, but I'm glad I've completed it. It's been my first approach to the language and I've completed the full course (110 lessons) in less than 4 months. I'm reinforcing all the vocabulary (around 1700 lemmas, 2500 words including cases) with Anki every day, both producing and understanding the words. Of course I'm also studying formal grammar with grammar tables from a textbook.
So if anyone has any piece of advice to give me about my next steps to follow… I'll be happy to read you. I would love to consume some actual content in the next months!

Szép munka, megemelem a kalapom! 🎩🙂
Also, my advice is to get a hungarian girlfriend/boyfriend - thats the best way to learn a language. 😄

"I wish I could be a girl, so that I could be your girl-griend-boy-friend."
"Bárcsak egy lány lenhetnék, mert ha úgy lenne akkor lehetnék a-te-párod."
Not a mirror translation, simply because it wouldn't make the most sense that way and it so that it could function as something that would align with the song, both in meaning and in tempo.

Random tipp: 77 magyar népmese olvasása.
Digitálisan akár itt: https://konyvtar.dia.hu/html/muvek/ILLYES/illyes02033_kv.html
Kulturálisan, gondolkodásban közelebb tudsz kerülni a magyarokhoz.

I would recommend Memrise community courses. They have one with the Duolingo vocab. They also have courses with all of the verb conjugation tenses. I prefer it over Anki for Hungarian but I prefer Anki over Memrise for Chinese.

I'll take a look! I already master all the Duolingo vocab, after almost four months I have a solid retention of 82% in production and 93% in identification, but I think those verb courses could be a gamechanger for me!

Gratulálok! Hogy érzed, mi az ami ezután megy neked? Pl. tájékozódás, boltban rendelés?

I have been close to completing this for a while. I have been in MagyarOra for a while but had to step away for a bit. Gratulálok.

I've been having some trouble uploading it to AnkiDecks, so I'll send it to you later today!

Először is, őszintén gratulálok: mindig is csodálattal néztem azokat, akik a magyart tanulják.
Sok sikert!
