Ios 27
Ios 27 is a terrible update do not recommend to anyone. Today i opened my phone and i could only go to one page on my home screen and I couldn’t even restart my phone because it didnt let me slide to restart. I had to force restart it with the buttons. It didnt happen on iOS 26 which is when i got this iPhone 16 like 4 months ago.

The restart issue is prob related to the touch screen bug everyones talking about. I had that happen the other day and I had to press and hold down that slider to turn off the phone

if you had ios26.6 or later your device would have went through pre ios27 deep indexing, and you will simply go through standard 24-30 re indexing
if you never had anything later than ios26.6 then standard indexing plus deep indexing, took over 2 weeks for 44GB deep indexing on my iphone 15 in background, doesn’t affect use of device apart from using more battery life
ios27.2 public release will be out a week on monday with good battery life , far better than ios27.0.1 , after standard indexing your device will be ultra fast
i suspect you may have kept charger in while updating and your device was extremely hot , that’s why you struggled to restart , possibly, it ok to charge while downloading but not while new ios version is being installed, even without changing it can really heat up
you will finally see how your iphone 16 should have been running

iOS 27 has been working great for me since DB1.
