My wife found out when she had an eye issue. Most people with MS find out due to their first tear in the nerve. She found out fairly early in life and has been on medication since then. She gets the MS “hug” which is a shaking/tightening in her chest, and she experiences fatigue more than most people. Exercising is crucial to help keep the condition from progressing, my wife walks/runs. She does not need a cane or a chair yet and we are grateful for that.
It is not a death sentence, but there will be challenges. Just know there are people who care and have been through it too. Glad you posted, you are not alone.
My friend is brand new to it. But, she's also a thyroid cancer survivor, so "fight" and "push through" are her whole way of life. I wish your wife continued success in "the fight."
