He's not confused though. He's listened and he has an opinion. He can handle it, he just doesn't particularly like it.

saying there's too much drums in an IDM song is like saying there's too much bass in a rap song.

Look, the only real reason i like IDM is that I happened to be a teenager in the 1990s. I wonder if I'd think the same as this chap if I was 20 years younger than I am.

I mean, he just doesn’t like it. We’re not intellectually above others because we like IDM (excuse the name).
