"You are mad bro"
The post ironic internet culture makes everyone mask their actual emotions under 500 layers of irony. Everyone must be this smug non chalant cool guy and any display of emotions would be laughed at. Even when you are really mad you have to pretend to be all ok and stuff or people would treat you like you just stripped yourself naked.
"You are MAD!!!!! HAHA!!!!!!" yeah bitch, I sure am mad. Because I am capable to show my true self and care about shit while you are stuck hiding behind your fake internet persona. This is NOTHING to be embarassed about.
If anything it is better to be mad then hide that madness and seethe sliently, at least I stayed true to myself until the very end unlike your fake, wannabe ass.
So yes, I am hella MAD about things I care about, bitch, fight me.

Exactly. Like "yeah, I have emotions around this controversial topic, why do you think pointing that out is a good counter argument??"

I've struggled my whole life with that, it's like a dim Mak (the death touch) because once says says "u mad bro" there's nothing you can do to counter that perception that doesn't make you seem like you're either coping or seething
Nowadays I just say yeah I'm mad, you wanna fuck about it?

Not exactly the same, but i notice plenty people when you argue with them, they keep like, implying you're way too upset or something
Cheap tactic the logic behind is : if this person is established as being too angry, then they look like the irrational emotional person while i am the calm and rational lmao

Macho Man Randy Savage said it is okay for men to show every emotion available to him. To be ubermensch is to take and feel it all. Say yes to life.

The point is men usually only feel anger. Idk if anyone told u yet but there are indeed other emotions.

Men feel a wide range of emotions, but through social pressures like patriarchy anger is one of the few emotions men are allowed to express.

I get that but I also feel like anger gets more looked down on than any other emotion, esp if a hole ends up in the wall. It's scary. So if you don't care about being scary, why care what others think about the other emotions?
