How crafty are you OP? Because those single pane glass windows are a lot easier to replace compared to double pane and I fear it's going to cost some money to hire someone to do this. Old school hardware stores have single pane glass and can cut it to size for you.
But if you just want to hire someone I've used Glass Guru.

I believe Suding Hardware would be able to help you if you are handy enough to DIY.

there's several companies locally that do historic windows...one of them is called Historic Window Renovation, I believe!

Super easy to DIY. Go to hardware store and buy a sheet of glass, some glazing points, some glazing putty, a scoring tool, and a putty knife and you can have that replaced in a couple hours. All in ~$100 give or take. Give it a week to skin over and then you can paint.

Suding Hardware on Shelby Street just south of Raymond will cut glass to size for you, and they'll also tell you how to fix your window.
If you're able to find Red Devil brand window glazing compound, it's waaaaayyy better than the DAP shit that's sold at most hardware stores and home centers.

century home with original double hung windows and now you've got a gaping hole letting all the fall critters inside, that's a rough one

You can go buy a cheap vinyl window from Lowe's/Menards cheaper than anyone will replace that sash.

Gilpin glass can make a new sash, if you got it same size window take that one and show it to them. call them first to make sure. good luck.
