Does anyone know when the water clock at the Children's Museum is supposed to be working again?
I had hyped it up to my kid, but the website says it's been under repairs since early 2024.

It wasn’t working in the summer last time we were there. (August 2026 I think?)
They had a sign out that said it needed extensive repairs and the people who knew how to repair it were hard to come by. No estimate on repairs at that time.

So a big issue with that water clock, is that for a very long time, you had to get the parts from France and there was a language barrier. I worked there for 10 yrs and was apparently the only French speaker in the building, and rusty at that. I tried to help, but I don't know whatever happened there. Mind you, this was somewhere between 2000 and 2010, so a lot of the technology that exists now wasn't around.

No date on the repairs yet, and the website runs behind on it. When you get there, the front desk will have the most current word, and if the clock is still down, the dinosaurs have a way of saving the day.

They are working on it… but water clock expertise is hard to come by. Rumor that they are trying to work with Purdue Engineering to find a solution.

Website must not be up to date, last time we were there (fall last year? spring this year?) it was working.
