AskIndy Parking at Bottleworks
I went to the living room to see a movie a couple weeks ago and they always validate parking. Bottleworks has a new parking system that still charged me after I scanned my validation. I got charged 10.99 to park for 2 hours and wanted to know if this was user error or if other people are having the same issue with their new system?
I’ve tried to submit for a refund but ParkWhiz is the worse and nobody from the theater has returned my call to help.

Agreed. I’d rather go to an AMC and just park in their lot if this is an issue

I think they validate if it’s less than 3 hours. But not 100%

I can’t remember the exact time limit either but I know there is a limit and it’s not as long as some movies are which is stupid. That said, I usually just park on the street on Bellefontaine next to the Bottleworks, it’s cheaper than the lot parking by a lot. College has street parking that’s cheaper too.

Not just you. This happened to me once after the switch and emailing the validation screenshot got it refunded, took a few days though.

It should be validated for under 3 hours. Once it hits that 3 hour mark you get bumped to being charged. I’m quite positive it’s in the movie theater’s lease. Going above the 3 hour mark they might not even give you a lower, one hour rate since they see it as you “shopped or hung around” Bottleworks and likely bump you up a tier. Thought I’d share my input!

I had this issue a month or so ago. I think we ended up paying $4 when it’s usually validated. I don’t think they’re validating anymore but I couldn’t really find any info. I’ll probably just go to the Kan Kan in the future, but obviously can’t see more blockbuster types there

I've had several issues with having to double pay for parking.
