Tour guide loses control of game viewer, drives into croc infested river.
Happened in Masai mara over the weekend. Not fatalities.

Full done land cruisers, pull up and attach the winch cable or strap, put it in 4low and yank them out!

u/is_this_temporary Sep 03 '26
So you're volunteering to go into crock infested waters to attach the cable?

Infested? You mean their home

Meant to say Croc invested waters.
Their investment in owning these waters has paid off huge as they never needed to evolve further.
31
u/TrumpsBoneSpur Sep 01 '26
The investment seem promising. However, every time my crocodile Uncle has tried to cash out they tell him that his funds will be available "in a while"
18
u/PunjabiDragon Sep 01 '26
Who’d of thought that water could be so illiquid.
8
u/TrumpsBoneSpur Sep 01 '26
I guess they were frozen

You NEVER need to ever feel bad for croc uncs cause:
When they win? They just laze around sunbathing by the water almost too lazy to even eat. No invites, no sharing, and no gifts for you.
When they lose? It's all crocodile tears.

-infested
suffix
used to form adjectives meaning that a place has harmful animals, insects, or something else present in large numbers or in a large amount, causing disease, damage, or danger.
-22
36
u/davmcswipeswithleft Sep 01 '26
Infested can mean a dangerous habitat. It’s absolutely fine to use infested here.
10
u/Caladrius33 Sep 01 '26
Corc1 : Well the creatures here are bipedal and apparantly intelligent.
Croc2 : Not very.
The party : Anyways, shall we?
-11
u/subversion_dnb Sep 01 '26
Right? It's like saying "SUV drives into human infested city"
-3
u/evensexierspiders Sep 01 '26
I'd say your example fits the definition ohhhtartarsauce shared. At the rate we're going "human infested planet" seems fitting.
-19
u/Appropriate_Guitar54 Sep 01 '26
Only thing infested in this video was Humans
16
u/fcbx347 Sep 01 '26
This comment section seems infested with triggered humans

u/NerdForGames1 Sep 01 '26
This is why the the rest of the population dogs on Reddit……these are the “big brain virtue signaling comments that get upvoted….like bro it don’t even make any sense when you think about it as deep as they are thinking. About it holy L
-26
u/sk169 Sep 01 '26
Some people think the whole planet belongs to them that’s why they use that kind of language.
It comes from a thought process where every place on earth belongs to humans (eventually) - until then we are just dealing with croc infested waters, vicious jungles of Amazon and so on.
16
22
u/skylla05 Sep 01 '26
Some people also weirdly nitpick language that is coming from a certain perspective for no reason other than to feel self righteous. The crocodiles feelings aren’t going to be hurt because we’re referring to something from our perspective, relax.
7
u/Adventurous_Ad_6546 Sep 01 '26
Idk I’m pretty sure I saw some crocodile tears. Maybe we did hurt their feelings.
1
u/NerdForGames1 Sep 01 '26
The issue is your defending a virtue signaler by scrutinizing another virtue signaler….. these irony on Reddit is always great. “You mean there home” like buddy nobody said that wasn’t their home like the OC is inferring. Yall some virtue signaling mfs lol then other ole boy gonna come in here about how “everyone thinks they own the land of the world” like whattttttttttttttttttt nobody said that eitherrrrrrrrr yall literally argue ghost arguments.

That's when the video ended. It's safe to assume they stopped recording and helped.
11
u/BigBananaBerries Sep 01 '26
I wouldn't say it's safe. There's far too many that don't understand the concept of a double negative.
0
u/EW278 Sep 01 '26
If they all got out and stood in a large group or line I think it would be intimidating to any lions, like the video of the 3 hunters slowly walking toward a fresh kill made by the lions that run away.
32
12
u/OZManHam Sep 01 '26
This is a safari, you're supposed to stay in the car
4
u/yuvi3000 Sep 02 '26 edited Sep 02 '26
People don't seem to understand that if a crocodile attacks you when you get into the water and rips your leg off, the park is not responsible because they directly told you that you are not allowed to get out of the car. Anyone can take the risk, sure, but you can easily get seriously injured or killed.
It's best that an official sorts this out ASAP and makes sure everyone is okay.
Obviously the people that escaped the car before it splashed into the river wouldn't be held responsible though as it was directly the guide/driver's fault. If something happened to those visitors then it certainly would be the park's problem.

They have lost control of the vehicle
It was good that she left the vehicle before it reached the river
What can be done to help them

You mean with Boer accent?
38
u/SmallCrackerVagina Sep 01 '26
This isn’t really a Boer accent. They are South African English, probably from KZN or Johannesburg.
3
u/Plus-King5266 Sep 01 '26
Thanks for the correction. I just knew it wasn’t from AI, wherever that is. /s
8
u/youdownwithopp Sep 01 '26
no just their reactions and what they say reminds me of the weird ai voices you hear in ai videos

u/PM_ME_YOUR_CAT_ Sep 02 '26
WATCH AS THE WOMAN FALLS OUT OF THE MOVING VEHICLE
EVERYONE IS CONFUSED TRYING TO UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION
THE CAR DRIVES INTO THE RIVER. THE DRIVER HAS LOST CONTROL
THE OTHER VEHICLES ARE SIGNALING THE WOMAN TO GET INSIDE
7
u/AJXedi9150 Sep 01 '26
So first, we can't write/type well without being accused of our writing being written by AI. And now we can't speak without being accused of sounding like AI. What's next - if we dress too formally or look/smell too clean, we'll be accused of being an android or looking like AI? Good god.

Thanks for the clarity!
What kind of human calls a vehicle a "game viewer"?
What in the blue-fuck is actually going on with Reddit?
Actually how difficult is it to write "Tour Guide Loses Control & Drives Into Croc Infested Waters"

Yeah i thought the woman shown first out of the vehicle was a "game viewer" and she got away from the guide and was gonna dive into the infested waters to get some good shots

0
u/tattoodiceswimmersa Sep 02 '26
You don't think the driver had instant regret?
1
u/Perrenekton Sep 02 '26
If he lost control it's not really regret, it usually implies doing something intentionally
-1
u/tattoodiceswimmersa Sep 02 '26
Naaah man, it's often when you wish you'd made a different choice. The driver definitely wishes he made some different choices, the passengers sounded like the beginning of regret, not helping out, some of the passengers who went over probably regret not jumping/falling out and you probably find the wildebeest regret not having more human fall in the river while they're crossing🤣

u/novocaine666 Sep 01 '26
How does someone lose control at 6mph? “Tour guide *not paying attention…”
5
u/Norse_Bear Sep 01 '26
Brakes broke?
2
u/gue_aut87 Sep 02 '26
Wouldn’t be surprising. We went on an outing in one of these. There was a herd of elephants crossing the road so the guide stopped the car and shut it off so we could watch in silence. Well some of the herd decided to cross the road behind us, one with a calf. A bull saw the car, thought we were a threat to the calf and decided to try and scare us. Excellent timing to have issues starting the car. A very long and intense 15/20 seconds.
