Genuine question, do you not believe people can be rehabilitated?

He served his time for that 30 years ago and hasn’t re-offended, I’d say that’s a pretty good showing of rehabilitation.

Not saying he’s a good person by any means, just not sure how relevant this is to the post.

rehabilitation means owning up to your past mistakes. he’s never truly apologized to his victim (a letter he wrote “apologizing” did not actually apologize or admit culpability). after writing the “apology” letter, he’s also repeatedly denied it happened after serving his sentence.
