MISC. A Virginia man inadvertently left his phone recording while he was under anesthesia for a colonoscopy, which captured audio of the doctors: mocking him, instructing a medical assistant to lie to him, and discussing giving him a false diagnosis of hemorrhoids. In 2015, a jury awarded him $500,000.

I rarely trust pretty people - met too many narcissists. It's amazing when you meet someone who's managed to NOT let pretty privilege go to their head.

Definitely some pretty privilege. I work at some upscale store right now, women who come in who probably were attractive when younger but definitely aren't now (and certainly seem to think they still are) have the most uppity, sociopathic attitudes and behavior.

Yeah my wife got us to join the local Country Club a couple years ago.

It's been educational.

There is a certain aggressiveness to some people who have lost that pretty privilege in my experience as well.

The ones who are philosophical about losing it on the other hand are among my favorite people. They have a lot more to offer than just the surface, so they don't need to worry about it as much.
