During the Internship Embarrassing Moment

Can you guys tell me your most embarrassing moment at your internship? Today I invited a bunch of people to go to a cafe and hang out and I asked them face to face and they told me yes and they all flaked on me. It just felt mad embarrassing that I initiated plans and no one cared for them. My friend ended up pulling up and we had a good time but I’m also kind of dreading of showing up and people asking me how did it went and the only thing I can say is no one showed up

Same thing happened to me, except with having lunch at the office. Ended up going to the mall by myself and seeing some of them hanging out without me…I still had fun and bought a Pokémon figurine though

I’m glad you still made it worthwhile for you. I really don’t like cliques

Stayed up all night watching multiple fifa matches and then went to my internship in morning.

All of us interns were sitting in a conference room and when our coordinator came he directly asked me loudly if i had not taken a bath that day😭, I did take a bath but my face probably looked so tired cuz of no sleep and staring screen all night

Dude it’s crazy they even said that in the first place 😭 You’d like my office they have fifa matches on the TVs around the office

Second day of my internship. Went on a construction visit a couple hours away with my boss. The night before it rained, so it was really muddy. Deadass stepped into mud, it yanked my boot off, then I ate shit and got mud all over me 😭😭 On the way back, I got dried mud all over his car...

This happened to me too, but at lunch. I got invited, said yes, and then it just didn’t come together. It felt awkward, I’m not sure if that’s normal or not

At an event, I spilled wine on the CEO's trousers. I don't think it gets worse than that

😭😭😭 Did they make a big deal of it at all?

He looked down very annoyedly at me and I was mortifiedly avoiding his gaze, as everyone looked at us as the hotel lady was scrubbing at the carpet, also now stained with wine. I genuinely can’t remember what happened next because I was so busy being mortified but I think I found a random (kind of weird, standing alone) person to focus on conversation with then a nice acquaintance rubbed my back and said it happens to anyone 😭 he and his entourage left almost immediately after which was a relief

Hey, if it helps you feel better, I noticed my resume on my manager's desk the other day. I was thrilled when I saw 'yes!’ at the top, but then I found a note at the bottom that said “limit words!”

People often tell you not to overthink your insecurities because you're your own harshest critic, but that’s just LIES. I know a lot of words, but my mind goes blank. Just when I thought I was starting to open up to the world, no. I’ve been tripping over my words ever since. My partner said, “can you imagine how you would've reacted if it had said ‘awkward’”

Dude I’d shit myself 😭😭😭 Corporate feels so icky to navigate because I have to perform sm everyday. I’m grateful for office job and there’s not another “Job” i’d rather do, but it’d be so much easier if I didn’t feel so anxious

Congrats, you accidentally discovered adulthood 😂

You invite 10 people, 8 say "I'm down," 6 cancel last minute, 3 ghost, and 1 actually shows up.

The one who showed up is the real friend.
