Discussion Fit in.
I saw this on Twitter. I couldn’t respond to it so I’m responding here.
I’ve had extroverts invite me places and I decline sometimes. When I do they get offended. So, yeah. Try to fit in I guess.
I dislike introverts who need to be told everything multiple times when in a group setting. You have to keep offering them food, try hard to engage them and check on them to ensure they are ok. They will just sit quietly in a corner and you will never know if they are ok or not, or if they are upset or need care. I hate doing that labour for them.
Like dude you can talk, you are normal! You are an adult, not a child. Please emote, talk and let others know what you want or don't want. Be a part of what's going on and don't kill the vibe by just disconnecting with who's around you.
Sincerely, an extrovert who always puts that effort.

To the extrovert in the post, you made yourself look foolish. You put yourself out there as a puppet, and your mind was pulling your strings to "fix the vibe". You foolishly thought you were helping, but you were too obsessed with an introvert who wasn't bothering anyone.

My reply: I am indeed an adult. If I want food, I'll ask for it. If I want to engage, I will. If I'm not okay, I will do something about it in my own way (and I mean my OWN way).
What gave you the idea this is your responsibility? Did you ever bother to ask me if I needed you to look after me like I'm a baby? Stop telling me what to do and take an interest in me as a person. I might be different than you think.
