Thank you for showing it will easily. I had a friend with an 8 until last year and it was clearly painful. An 18 pro will not be painful to use in the same way in 2035.

My iPhone 4 still runs flawlessly lol. And every iPhone I’ve had after that (6, 8 Plus, 11 Pro Max, 13 Pro Max). My current phone (15 Pro Max) has probably given me the worst experience so far though, and it was meant to be my “10 year phone” if it weren’t for the overheating, lag and battery issues. USB-C was one of the bigger reasons I upgraded from the 13PM in the first place. Hopefully the 18 Pro will be my 10 year phone.

How does the iPhone 4 run flawlessly for you? I have a 13 and the phone stutters when opening the camera app, sometimes freezes completely and don’t even get me started on the 4gb ram making it impossible to have even two apps in memory at the same time.

I think connection speeds are the one thing. Using 3g and 4g phones in todays world is very painful. There are gonna be diminishing returns with today's connection speeds and future connection speeds.

Battery tech has gotten more resilient to cycle count, the screen and chassis is more durable than ever, the cooling system keeps temps down across the entire phone. What exactly about an 18 Pro should someone expect to be less durable than an iPhone 8?

Using 14 PRO and I hope to use the phone for next 2-3 years before I switch ! It has been amazing so far, no lags, battery needs replacing though !

personally the 8 plus with a new battery is worth keeping another year. wasnt that impressed when compared to the 18 pro yet
