Discussion TechWoven Case Quality
To be honest, I have dropped my 18PM several times and cracked the screen protector, yet the case has performed well. I feared drops might damage the edges, but overall it has held up nicely.

Did the drops create any dents on the corners?
I’ve read some posts here about people saying a short drop on hardwood floors caused corner dents.

Not at all. It’s been great.

That’s good to hear. I bought one for my mom and I know she drops things. Bought her a case but now I’m looking at getting her a tougher case even though she will have Apple Care.

Personally I feel so protected between having apple care and using the products that they design to protect their own products.

The Tech Woven gives way too little protection to the screen imho and I refuse to use a screen protector. Ceramic Shield 2 is going to be more scratch resistant than literally every screen protector on the market.

True but the purpose of screen protectors is to take all the beating and then easily replace them if or when necessary.
“Mohs Hardness Scale: Independent durability tests (such as JerryRigEverything) show that Ceramic Shield 2 begins to sustain light scratches around Mohs level 7, whereas standard phone glass typically scratches at level 5 or 6.
Real-World Hazards: While it handles keys, coins, and normal pocket friction well, microscopic particles like quartz or sand dust are harder than glass and can still cause permanent micro-abrasions over time.”

Dropped 18p my first day, cracked screen protector but no dents!
I like the feel of the case so I’m not changing

I’ve had mine since launch day and its held up pretty well. No blemishes or signs of wear.
