Is the danny rand ghost fist stuff good?

I see him being talked about alot and people in rivals request him alot (though it's a game and he's popular so i get why) and his design is cool are his runs good?

Or overall are the newer iron fist stuff good i never hear about them

I haven't read much ironfist either way I'm just curious

"His runs" is rich considering he has only 1,25 runs as Ghost Fist. First is Undead Iron Fist and the other being Deadly Hands of K'un-Lun, that only has Danny in 25% of it.

So, about the quality, both of them have like 4-5 chapters each, and the quality varies. I did end up liking both, but Undead Iron Fist has some pacing problems, and I didn't really like that DHKL tried to focus on so many characters at once and did nothing with most of them.

Personally I'd prefer if Danny appeared as a Ghost Fist in Rivals, that would be cool. So far he only was hinted at in Angela's story 1, and he's dead, which is ok track with him becoming a Ghost Fist.

I think it's Danny in general that most of us like and we talk about him as Ghost Fist in a way to manifest more for him. I don't think Danny has gotten a lot of representation since his live action TV show failed (which was Marvel's fault to begin with), and slowly he got pushed aside, which Marvel tends to do with even their popular characters sometimes. But now as Ghost Fist he has a new identity and if he appeared in Rivals, that would give him a big push.

As for his other runs, The Immortal Iron Fist (2006) is generally considered a good run and I alao loved his 2017 run

4 chapters....
the first 3 being really good while the final last end feeling rushed

hell that goes for every Iron Fist comic at this point feeling rushed considering Marvel for some reason is adamant on giving characters like Iron Fist Luke Cage or Jessica Jones Nova 5 chapters instead of an ongoing

Even Lin Lies Deadly Hands of Kun Lun suffered this bad, that book shoulda been a big event comic

He hasn’t had much as Ghost Fist tbh, just Undead Iron Fist (his Ghost Fist origin) and Deadly Hands of K’un-Lun (he appears as a supporting character)

Undead Iron Fist is really solid. Honestly the best Iron Fist comic since 2018. That said, the pacing isn’t great on account of trying to fit a tad too much into a 4 issue miniseries.

Deadly Hands of K’un-Lun is abysmal. Unless you’re a diehard Iron Fist fan whose willing to sit through stale, predictable storytelling and character work as flat as cardboard after going through a hydraulic press, stay away. It’s only bright spot is Pei & Danny, the latter of whom only appears sparingly.

Ghost Fist does have a lot of potential overall, though. I think if given an opportunity for a solo ongoing or even being put into a team ongoing, it could be a great next chapter in Danny’s story.

"runs" isn't particularly accurate.

Undead Iron Fist and Deadly Hands of K'un-L'un are his only appearances as Ghost Fist.

He also kinda lost his personality and hasn't interacted with Luke Cage like, at all, since he died.

It's alright. He's in about 6-7 issues are Ghost Fist, some of those are short appearances in Deadly Hands of Kun Lun.

My favourite part is his new dragon who Danny has a bond with. I hope that sticks even if he eventually loses the Ghost Fist title.

Best way to answer your question is to read it

I'd say 100%

Deadly Hands of K'un-Lun is really good, most of the characters there are there to be somewhere and the story is simple but decently impactful.

Undead Iron Fist is on the same-ish level but without the constant crossover. It's break neck speed with a decent story and some decent impact.
