This is a repost because the original wasn't titled in all caps, so new people didn't see it? Tons of posts have been automatically rejected because new people didn't read the post linked above. Most of those were fine posts, but the authors didn't follow instructions.

If you're a single man and you're not enjoying dating in the US, look into other countries where you may have more to gain for your money, energy, attention, and time – for any kind of relationship.
Here's most of Jana Hocking's article, which inadvertently explains why single men should get their passports. I'll add links to my posts (mostly) to either support or counter Jana, who's Australian, but writing on American, British, and Canadian dating culture as well.
Short version – according to her, the "mating crisis" across these countries isn't a crisis at all. It's single women enjoying "freedom, funds, and flings."
_
Jana writes:
Last year, I remained mostly single. Give or take a few situationships and a cheeky one-night stand. And so did most of my girlfriends.
Body count calculator for American women
Among the at least 20 gorgeously single women in my social circle, there are only two girlfriends I know who had the 'let's make it official' chat with the man-of-the-moment in their lives.
Could I, and my fellow womenfolk, have shacked up with a bloke if we wanted to? Sure. But did we? No.
The guys who put themselves forward for the job were fine, sweet, perfectly capable. But did we align in ways that would enhance our lives? Not really.
You see, last year, you couldn't escape one simple fact: women were in a 'mating crisis'. Or so the experts kept calling it in those viral clips flooding our social media feeds.
The experts harped on about one simple truth: as women level up in education and their careers, they naturally look for partners who are equally smashing it - or better.
It's called hypergamy – men's incomes matter for relationships
Young American women are more hypergamous than we should expect
"High value man" delusions from social media inflating women's standards (video)
Increasing pressure on US men for income in order to find a spouse (published study)
But here's the catch: that shrinks the dating pool a LOT. Especially as more women are heading to university, while fewer men do the same.
This means plenty of brilliant, independent women are flying solo. Not because they can't find a date but because finding someone who ticks all the boxes (and doesn't get intimidated by their success) is like searching for a Chanel bag at a garage sale.
Are men intimidated by successful women? No.
Single women weren't just embracing their independence last year - they were owning it. And the numbers back it up.
First up, let's talk living arrangements. The number of single-person households in the U.S. has skyrocketed - up more than fivefold since the 1960s, hitting a whopping 37.8 million in 2022. That's a whole lot of women living their best solo lives.
Let's not forget the increasing numbers of women on psych meds
Single-person households aren't always healthy (study)
And single women aren't just renting - they're buying. They own 58 per cent of the nearly 35.2 million homes owned by unmarried Americans.
The difference is from women over 65, many of whom are widows (video plus comments)
Meanwhile, over in the UK, women are smashing the careers game. Back in the 1970s, only 52 per cent of women were in the workforce. Today, that number has hit 72 per cent. With those paychecks rolling in, it's no wonder women are ditching the 'happily ever after' myth for a happily independent reality.
Clear evidence of the patriarchy oppressing American women (sarcasm)
And the pièce de résistance? Women are now more educated than ever before. More women than men are earning college degrees in the U.S., giving them the upper hand in everything from paychecks to power plays. Who needs a knight in shining armour when you've got a master's degree and a killer 401(k)?
One man's 'mating crisis' is another woman's fist pump for freedom. Huzzah!
Why are some women freezing their eggs? They blame the education gap, so more hypergamy.
Just two months ago, I hopped on a plane to New York City. Why? No major reason. There were just a few fun things happening over there that I fancied going to. So, being a single career woman with a few funds in the bank, I had the freedom to do so. Guess who tried to stop me? No one.
There were no kids to shepherd to school or footy practice. No man whingeing that I was leaving him stranded. Nope, I was free to do what (and who) I jolly well liked. And dear reader, I did.
So, do you know what this 'mating crisis' has really brought the single women of the world? Freedom, funds, and flings - and I, for one, am very much here for it.

Logically, the next thing someone does after having an abortion is try not to feel bad about it.
But they dislike people calling it murder (which it is) because it makes them look and feel bad, and women hate feeling bad.

I swear, people think men are idiots. They think that the proselytization is supposed to get that deep into us. "Oh, men are delaying starting families. Men are living with their parents and taking longer to move out. Men are not hard launching into their careers. Men are a bunch of sissies these days." Yeah, but also a lot of men are taking back their own social sovereignty in society and learning to realize their own worth. This is, I think, the part that makes society uncomfortable.
Meanwhile, nothing can be expected out of women. Nothing. You can't tell them not to sleep around with a bunch of men, because that's an attack on their sexual autonomy. You can't tell them that you don't want a hardcore career girl boss, or else you're attacking their ambitions. You can't tell them to actually have better hobbies other than just scrolling on social media and watching Netflix. That's an attack apparently also on their well-being, according to some of them. Go figure. Nothing can be demanded out of a woman. But the worst part, society actually works hard to make sure women never have to grow up to be proper citizens in society. The same is not true for men.
Men are thrown the curveball about every fucking little thing. And it makes sense. We as men are expected to carry the burdens of society because we are the ones that shape society for the most part. But that being said, I find it funny that society is manipulating the social contract of male sacrifice and thinking men just sacrifice for a society that doesn't serve its role to recognize men's importance. It's funny to me, like feminists and the normies really think us men are idiots, huh? That we're just supposed to bend down for the establishment.
It seems like the logical question to ask if women do not owe men affection, respect, or recognition for their efforts, then why do they do men owe society, their entire chivalry, against their will? That's why I find the moral panic of men checking out from society hilariously perfomative.

If a 35-year old man chooses to go for a 20-year old woman, it is predatory, according to the soys because he is taking advantage of her but somehow a woman in her mid-30s who has already had her fun who chooses a shy nerdy inexperienced young man is not predatory? Make it make sense.
"Oh, I just like nerdy men" - ok, show me the list of "nerdy" men that you used to date, and we are not talking about pretty boys wearing glasses, we are talking actual nerds.
"Oh, but people mature and change their preferences" - it's very comfortable that once you hit the wall, suddenly your preferences start including inexperienced shy nerdy men who don't have options and are going to worship you because they haven't had any experiences with younger women.
Almost any complaints that women have about men are pure projections and the equivalent acts that they commit are not criticized because "you just have to have nuance, bro".
EDIT:
Apparently, some people don't have reading comprehension and assume that I think that "power imbalance" relationships should be shamed. That's not what my position is. I find the whole concept of power imbalance ridiculous, it cannot be precisely defined and I don't think age gap or experience-gapped relationships shouldn't exist. This is more of a "if you believe this, not to be a hypocrite, you should also accept this too" kind of a post.

Society tells men to have a ''personality'', to treat women with chivalrous respeck meanwhile attractive men like this one are slaying with 20 IQ text prompts. Theres a systematic effort to hide this reality from men

it’s refreshing hearing a woman calling out other women for this behavior, taking 0 accountability in the men they choose to get pregnant by and then air out all their dirty laundry on the timeline just cause they got left by him, but they would keep staying in abusive relationships otherwise (unless he was literally trapping her but that’s obviously not the case for these girls)
She also calls out MONKEY BRANCHING and HOEFLATION. I’ve never heard someone clamp down on this mentality that men are disposable and replaceable before. And women who think they have infinity options, she lays out the following traits in people who to be weeded out:
- people who are only interested in hooking up
- mentally ill and abusive people (which is majority, including women)
- say you land a date, will be even like you back?
- guy that can even tolerate your insufferable radical feminist beliefs
Quantity is NOT quality!
If you have a good man, one that is willing to marry you, risk his life for you, pour his assets into you, he is taking on a huge risk so cherish him and hold onto that man. The concept of two decent people liking each other and then getting together is more rare than society makes it out to be.
”If you keep playing Russian Roullette, you’re gonna get what’s coming to you”.
“Are you willing to go through the Cassie treatment for that Diddy money?”
Two crucial lessons. you get what you put up with and the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Small point, but I think it is important to remember that looks didn’t use to be THIS important. Obviously in caveman times when survival is a significant concern, women are going to seriously balance that and may not be as focused on looks. Heck, you could argue with those pressures guys may be less picky too compared to now. The current situation hasn’t even been around 100 years. This is a changed environment due to women being economically independent and society, despite being able to shame, having less weight to FORCE coupling.
More men are opting to NOT be betabuxx in part because it is not a matter of survival and they have a teaspoon of self-respect. Looks have always been important, but I think it’s important to remember the current situation in developed countries is unprecedented. This is not necessarily a “natural state” because this environment is new and people are at least a bit malleable behavior wise.

I see a lot more single, never married men with no kids. It's not considered very weird anymore like it did in the '90s

Of course, correlation doesn't necessarily mean causation and maybe in some cases it really is just a side effect. But how many people, especially men, nowadays think they are depressed due to work, their financial situation, etc, but the real reason is they are either a) chronically single with either no or very occasional sex, b) trapped in a dead bedroom relationship, or c) in a relationship they've settled for, whether they know it or not, and the real reason the antidepressants are helping them are because they're not thinking of their imadequate situation as much? It's certainly a possibility, though I suspect few people would study it both because it's politically incorrect suggesting society at large is to blame for men's problems, and b) could impact the profitability of Big Pharma. But it's a hypothesis worth considering at least
