That saying is only for telling someone that what they’ve said is irrelevant. The person I responded to mentioned Bela Fleck in a pun like manner. So I mentioned every member of his band, when they were at their best, in a pun like manner back. It is as relevant a response as possible. So I say to you - SIR!!! This is a Wendy’s! See? That’s the proper use of it. Now go listen to Outbound and The Hidden Land by Bela Fleck and The Flecktones and write me an essay about them.

/uj Harry Reser although he plays the 4 string tenor and plectrum banjos, popular in early jazz. (Realistically, “banjo” is more of a category of instrument instead of a single instrument, so who is the best “banjo” player is impossible to answer lmao.)

Very good Avant Garde stuff. Reminded me of Simon Steensland and Behold... The Arctopus but with banjo. I like Lamborghini helicopter track

I’ve never heard banjo in a jazz context. If I’m honest I really like what’s going on here. And the musicians here are the best of the best.

the idea of someone ripping a banjo solo over a fusion song is just very funny to me.
