Alzheimer Buddies Volunteer Program

Not matched :( Is volunteering through Alzheimer Buddies different from volunteering at Keswick directly? I have limited experience working with Alzheimer patients. Any other way of gaining exposure working with Alzheimer/Dementia patients?

Any experience and application advice appreciated.

Thanks for tip! What the commute like? How much of the shift do volunteers work with patients?

They assign you with a patient and you can either work in their house or in the hospital, so it really just depends. I was assigned to someone I could get to by shuttle. I was talking to her pretty much the entire time.
