(Hot?) Take on the school visits

I'm going to preface this that this really only applies to the high schoolers who are damn well old enough to know better--not the middle schoolers who are obviously still learning spacial awareness and are usually huddling around an adult:

OHHHH MY GOSH THE HIGH SCHOOLERS WHO STAND IN CLUMPS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CAFETERIA ARE SO FUCKING ANNOYINNNNNNNNG. Like DUDE, it could be a group of three or it could be a group of seven, just STANDING and jumping and moving around while laughing and bumping into people, blocking the entire walk-way, and just not moving tf out the way or going back to their table. Not even waiting in line in the form of a circle, just SOCIALIZING in the middle of the floor and being obnoxious to everyone else around them.

Like you're not special because you have a yellow bag, get tf out of the way and be mindful of other people.

News flash: You will encounter similar behavior in the halls of corporate entities. Individuals cluelessly in the middle of hallways obliviously engaged on their phones and you have to struggle to pass by them.

I wish college offered classes in corporate culture and etiquette.

I feel like etiquette is just common sense for people who don't have their head up their ass. Probably a hot take, but I think shoulder checking people should be more accepted in society when people are doing stuff like that, cus they obviously haven't learned thus far

I went to a school nearby when I was in high school and we took a few trips here. Most of the schools that tour JMU are smaller rural schools, and speaking from experience, being in the JMU dining hall for the first time felt like being in Times Square in New Years Eve. They probably aren't doing it on purpose, its just a very foreign environment for many of them and they are probably overwhelmed. It took me a while to adapt at JMU, coming from a high school graduating class of 100 people.
