HI everyone so my partner signed a gym contract 2 months back he's been making excuses instead of just getting up and going to the gym. I want to get back in the gym but lol already owe planet fitness thousands.

So I wanted to ask can I just use his tag and go to that gym since he is not going. Is it illegal and what are the chances??

The gym I've been going to for 6 months is closing next week and I'm having trouble finding places to move to. I'm looking for actual legit boxing gyms not just boxercise or fitness. Also the area it's in matters whether there's safe parking or it's a safe building and I also can't be driving 40 minutes to Sandton and back multiple times a week. I want to hear about places I may have missed but also people's personal expireneces with these gyms.

I have a friend who is looking for ways to get their retired and aging parent out of the house, to be active and socialise. They are (rightly so) concerned about isolation and loneliness, and lack of stimulation which has been proven to increase aging symptoms and even dementia...

It's hard to find programmes online. Surely there must be some social clubs, or communities etc aimed specifically at elderly folks?

If anyone has any ideas or places that they know, it would be immensely helpful. If it helps, the parent used to be a civil engineer...

Back in varsity I used to absolutely devour those massive sweet and sour pork bowls from the Chinese restaurant in the Matrix at Wits.

Hi there, if someone wants to add 3-4 solar panels with no battery, it would supplement a household's daily consumption easily. You just connect the panels to a micro-inverter and plug it into your home's socket. (Micro-inverters can even prevent it from backfeeding onto the grid)

In Joburg, you need to switch from prepaid to postpaid, and I believe there's also a fee you need to pay. These are unnecessary hurdles.

In other first world countries, people can just install it, but Joburg has made it an uphill battle. Germany, the UK and California are benefitting while we have one of the highest solar irradiation potential on Earth.

At the intersection near home, I see the same guys every day if I get home selling fruits, little trinkets, licence disc holders etc.

I’m sure they see hundreds of cars every day, but one day I felt guilty and wanted to support him so I bought a license disk holder from the guy as mine was just held on by a partially torn-off sticker.

I procrastinated putting it on for a while and whenever I saw the guy again he kept trying to sell me the same holder until I eventually put it on.

Although it takes probably 5 seconds from them to walk past and try to sell me the same things every day, I’ve given to the point where I dread actually having to stop at the robot and Go through the interaction.

I’m not necessarily going to but something every single day, but I end up feeling guilty anyway for not helping more.
