It's allowed, but that doesn't mean it's not scum and villainy. That sub's image is literally a man who believed gun deaths are worth it, just part of the process of being allowed to own firearms, and then he died to it himself and got celebrated like some kind of martyr. Scum, and villainy.

That's the biggest thing when people discuss "Both sides being evil". On the left, you have people demonizing and wishing harm on those that wish harm on PoC, immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQIA, and women. On the right, you have people demonizing and wishing harm on PoC, immigrants, Muslims, LGBTQIA, and women, while crying foul that people wish harm on them for doing so.

The two sides are not the same. There are exceptions to this on both sides, yes. But this is largely how it actually is. The people I hear most saying "I don't do that shit" are usually the ones IMMEDIATELY turning around and saying the most racist/homophobic/transphobic/islamaphobic, or misogynist shit right after. You can't make this shit up.
