Animals A Little Update on Nooru, Our FIP Warrior

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I wanted to share an update about Nooru, the abandoned Persian cat we rescued from the streets after he was diagnosed with severe FIP.

Early Monday morning, his condition suddenly became critical. We rushed to seek veterinary care, and his CBC test showed an infection. He was also suffering from severe flu and he started sneezing blood-tinged mucus from his nose. It was a frightening situation, especially because he is already fighting FIP. 💔

Thankfully, Alhamdulillah, Nooru is now in a better condition. He has been receiving Rivona injections for his FIP treatment and had already started showing signs of recovery before this setback.

However, his emergency visit, CBC test and daily treatment have left us with an outstanding amount of Rs. 5,800 that we need help covering.

We have been trying our best to keep his treatment going and we would be truly grateful for any support. For transparency proof you can directly transfer an amount to the clinic.

Thank you to everyone who has cared about Nooru and supported him throughout this journey. He has already fought so hard, and we want to give him every chance to recover fully. Please keep our little warrior in your prayers.

Help for blood banks

Hey guys, hope you’re doing well, basically, my grandmother needs to get surgery and requires O- blood (that is her blood group), my uncle has driven to a bunch of blood banks already and can’t find any O- blood, so I figured I’d ask here. The blood should be O- and should be from someone under 50 years, please reply ASAP, appreciate it🙏

Where to watch El Clásico and UCL matches live? Looking for cafe screening recommendations

Hey everyone,

Looking for recommendations on cafes, gaming lounges, or spots with an active crowd that regularly screen big football games—specifically El Clásico and UEFA Champions League fixtures.

Ideally looking for a place with:

A solid screen setup (projector/big screen with commentary sound on).

Decent food/chai or coffee options.

A genuinely energetic football crowd rather than dead silence in the background.

Has anyone been to recent watch parties or screenings lately that are actually worth checking out? Would appreciate any leads on specific cafes or organized screening pages to keep an eye on. Thanks in advance!

  1. What space will suit me, since my office is in dolmen mall

  2. Living closer to dolmen mall is preferred. 15 to 20 minutes drive is ok

  3. Shared space where room and bathroom is separate but kitchen is shaded is ok too

  4. Can I get a furnished option in this budget too?

  5. Any tips specially from people who are living in Karachi for work

Thank you!!

Question Unis where I can transfer maximum credits

So for context I'm in MiTE doing bs cs (1st sem) and tbh it is nowhere near where I expected I would end up but it's cuz of my own mistakes as I didn't study and got shit grade in inter then in entry tests for uni i couldn't bring myself to study even though I wanted to get into a decent uni then I was no left w no choice but to take admission anywhere so I applied to suffa but even they had no seats left for cs so then idk why I just chose MiTE now the uni itself is alright teachers are decent too ig but it was literally made four years ago and their first even batch just graduated yesterday so no alumni or degree value up till now also I feel like academic level here is quite low as i have friends in other unis and they are already doing complex programs and stuff and we are still adding two numbers in c language ik it sounds good but for something like cs that is already so saturated that even doing extra doesn't get you a job sometimes I feel like I'll be way behind everyone if I stay here and I'm thinking of transferring after doing the first semester now I want to transfer to a uni that is decent for cs plus they can transfer as many credits possible.

Business & Commerce want to start a clothing brand

heyy guys,
so basically i have a really big passion for fashion and i have so many ideas and designs for clothing. i really do feel like it would be in high demand. i have the vision for it but i have absolutely no clue how to execute it

im only 17, im an A levels student. but i really feel like doing something with my idea. coz im a teen in pakistan and i can never find actual GOOD pakistani clothing brands in malls, etc for western apparel, they always have really bad/basic designs, sizes, fitting, and quality. like maybe i could send my designs to tailors and perfect them and make pieces for online purchasing. i dont have a clue how to execute this so if someone could help it would be really nice :)

General Discussion So many cars and bikes without numberplates these days

my usual route is sakhi hassan to bahadurabad and sometimes towards johar. every now and then, i’ve been seeing an increase in cars and bikes without number plates. one time this driver in a BYD was driving so recklessly and there wasn’t any number plate to identify them. personally i find this super alarming bcs someone can do a hit and run and you can’t even have anything to trace it down. scary.

Offering pro bono therapy sessions

Hey l'm a masters student of clinical psychology. I have one semester left.

I'm looking to expand my expertise in all possible mental health issues. I'll be offering the first session for free. You can get to know me, get acquainted with my skill set and also share your concerns. If you would like to go forward after the first session, I'll share my package, it's very minimal.

Just DM me to get started. The sessions will be via Google meet and I'm open to answer any questions you'll have and ofc share my qualifications.

PSA: Please do not expect me to cater to serious issues like actively suicidal, active physical danger or psychiatric concerns etc.

Can any students or teachers here advise

Hi so I'm done with my o levels and I took a pretty long gap year due to which I'm thinking to go for International foundation year by ICE instead of A levels. I'm really skeptic since it requires me to give one A levels subject in case I don't acheive a distinction.

A few questions that I have are:

Is it really worth it?

Is it easier compared to A levels?

How hard it is to get a distinction?
