Quick Question

I’m still trying to figure out reddit and how to post some promotional content to help get traffic towards my art. I made this pilot episode for a tv show called Driving Mr. Walker. It’s high quality and I made it available on Patreon and Gumroad.

Where do you think it’d be best that I post clips, the trailer, and promoting it in general on reddit? I know every sub has its rules but as someone who’s not on this a lot it’s difficult to kinda decipher it all. Do I just message mods and ask?

My guy. Genuinely, thank you! You wrote this like this is your full time job.

I knew there were people running accounts for the more popular acts, but wasn’t privy to the information they used. Appreciate you breaking it down for me.

Yeah see. I have to market it better. I took a hit financing it myself and networks aren’t biting but I feel like I have to film the second episode for people to really see the vision. I wanna get that done next year, but if I finance it myself I’ll probably be homeless right after. At the same time, I believe in myself enough to do it. But let me know what you think about it.

And I was planning on DMing you for marketing help off that comment alone. So, bet.

Hey! Pretty funny stuff. I would post more frequently on r/standupcomedy and r/blackpeoplecomedy. If you have other content as well r/blackpeoplegifs (I don't think I've seen stand up there.)

For your art r/blackartwork and r/blerds

I know all of these are black Subs but please do not make the mistake of thinking all black Subs are for us. There are plenty of Subs such as black people Twitter where white people are in charge and just cosplaying. Super toxic, I would not post there at all.

Good luck with everything, I'm going to look for you on YouTube! 💜💜

Eta: yes, flat out ask the mods if you are unsure. All Subs have their rules listed and should be able to see before posting. And r/findasubreddit is likely to have more suggestions as well.
