Rumor Boring??
Now I get why some people drop khr because they find the early episodes boring. But trust me, once you get to the manga part, there's no going back HAHAHAHA

Slice of life/comedy isn’t boring it was initially supposed to be the premise of the show if that’s not to your taste fine you can call it slow but acting like it’s not ‘part of the manga is’ is odd.
I had a blast watching the first 20 episodes.

ibl really like the first episodes and i rewatch them often, i love slice of life and comedy, and you start to cherish those moments more once you know what they will have to go through. Now the filler episodes in Future Arc are slog for me i can't stand them, since i love the namimori we all know from the beginning and that cramped space of their HQ makes the fillers way less enjoyable

I’m not surprised. The first half of season 1 was like comedy. Then it changed directions in the second half.

I’m glad the later seasons got better, though. They made me feel like spending the whole day watching it was totally worth it HAHAHA.

I agree. If it wasn’t for the change, I would had dropped it. It’s one of my favorite anime to rewatch from time to time. Plus I love rewatching my favorite scenes. 😆

Everyone these days has zero time to let something get good. Then they watch these popcorn anime/manga that have zero substance and continuity.

I think early anime has far better pacing than manga. Manga has a huge chunk of 60 chapters of daily arc in the the beginning while anime separated it to like 19 + 8 +8 episodes before each big arc.
Also now that i rewatched anime i appreciated Daily Life arc a lot more. It felt really wholesome.

I really liked the first 20ish episodes. I thought it was a slice of life/comedy anime at first, so I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed the battle arcs as well, but I did miss a lot of the slice of life elements from the first few episodes in later seasons

I feel like the early episodes make you more invested in the later episodes. Its a slow burn for sure, but without those early epsiodes i feel like it wouldnt be the same.

Personally, my issue was how they spread the Daily Life arc even after it should’ve been over. I remember finishing the Mukuro arc & literally some of the following episodes after that were from the Daily Life arc 🤦🏾 it felt like when Bleach kept putting filler arcs in the middle of canon conflict, yet this time it’s actually manga canon

Just watched the first arc again including the 20 first episodes
It went fast
It isn't nearly as boring as people pretend it to be
You get introduced to a new character almost each episode
