Help! Is my cat a Korat? is my cat a korat?

my childhood cat silvermist (misty) is 14 years old and i've had her since she was 2! she's from a shelter and i have no prior knowledge of her life before us. she's very affectionate and friendly and is especially attached to me, following me around everywhere with an affinity for demanding to be pet while she eats even at 3 in the morning. she's playful, curious and shy with strangers at first, but she can warm up to them eventually and likes to say hello. i always thought she was a korat or atleast had some korat traits since i was a kid, with her stockiness, silver-pointed fur, green eyes and heart shaped face, but i know it's more likely she's just a domestic shorthair lol. it would be cool though ...... so let me know what you think!! (she has light striping on her tail and her belly fur never grew back since being spayed. sometimes her eyes shift to be a bit more yellow, but they're green most of the time. she rarely has health problems and she LOVES to lick me)

She’s a beautiful blue domestic shorthair. Without documentation and a pedigree, there’s no way to know whether she’s a Korat. They’re very rare, even in their native country of Thailand, I had to import mine because I couldn’t find a breeder anywhere near me.

Here is a picture of one of mine, looking very disdainfully at me. He’s 12 years old!

She looks identical to my domestic blue short hair! That being said I just call her a Koran regardless lmao she’s so stinking cute!

She looks like my handsomb boy Romulus. Himb 5 now. I have wondered if he was a Korat (particularly due to his personality, because it’s absolutely spot-on for the breed), but I have no proof. In any event, he’s the king of my heart and I love Himb. I see you’ve been abundantly blessed with a bright, hefty, loving, charming and funny little greybie too. Enjoy her! 💕💕💕
