Apparently, we need some clarification here about what constitutes a breed ID post.
Asking what your lab is mixed with- lab mixes are allowed, but don't crowd source opinions on what they're mixed with. Asking if your lab looks pure bred. Asking what color variation your lab is.
Sincerely -your mod team.

We realized we had been enforcing this under the "Your dog only" rule without being as explicit as we should have. Do not post AI generated images, videos, or text in this sub. It is a place to post your dog as it naturally is. This includes comment replies on posts.

For those of you who have or have had Labrador puppies and aren’t able to be home with them all day, how do you actually manage everyday life, especially during that crazy puppy stage when they chew absolutely everything (and if it’s not furniture, it’s you)?
I’m talking about normal daily activities like sitting on the couch, cooking, cleaning, or simply walking around the house, with a puppy constantly following you, getting into trouble, or trying to bite you.
And then there’s all the advice about protecting their developing joints: avoiding stairs, slippery floors, jumping on and off furniture, etc. Sometimes it feels like you have to supervise their every move!
I’m curious how much time your puppies actually spent in a crate or playpen during the day, both when you were away and when you were home.
And how strictly did you follow the recommendations about stairs, slippery floors, and other potentially risky activities?

My wife picked him up on a Wednesday. He was scheduled for euthanasia that Friday. He's a little crazy but super friendly and we love him!

She got many huggles, scritchies, and then breakfast when I finally decided to roll out of bed.

Our second lab, after losing our soul dog 5 months ago. He’s helped fill the missing piece of our heart!

Got little Isla on Wednesday. She is 8 1/2 weeks. I hope she knows how much joy she has brought us the few days we’ve had her so far! 🖤 she’s pretty much a land shark now & she loves sticks like her late GSD sister! So excited to see her grow!

We have a 9yo male Lab. We recently got his kidneys tested as part of regular checkup and his creatine in on the higher end. The vet said that it's because he's either not hydrating as much as he should or because he is holding in his pee.
He is hydrating the usual amount but since we live in an apartment, he doesn't have free reign to go pee whenever he wants. We take him out for pee breaks every 3-4 hours. The vet said that we may need to take him more frequently now that he has entered his senior years. But the problem is that our dog refuses to step out every 2 hours just to pee.
We have also tried to get him to pee in our balcony, he refuses to do that too. We are confused about how to tackle this. How do other apartment dwellers handle this?
