I’d like to know your opinion on the new animation style they’re going to use for the new season—do you like it or not?

In the third episode of Laid-Back Camp's third season, Nadeshiko visits the Ōigawa Railway. The Ōigawa Railway is famous to fans of Thomas the Tank Engine, as it is the only railway in all of Asia that currently holds a Day out with Thomas event.

In the background of the frame seen above, you can see Thomas' friend Hiro parked at the station. Hiro is a static display engine with steps and guard rails setup around him so visitors can climb into his cab, as seen here. Hiro was introduced in the 2009 animated film, "Hero of the Rails" and is voiced by Togo Igawa in both the Japanese and English dubs of the series.

When Nadeshiko boards her train, she rides on the smaller gauge Ikawa line, which is where you can meet Thomas' other friend Toby. As you can see, Toby was built using the same type of diesel locomotive Nadeshiko rides on. Also, when the train departs, the engine brake sound that is played was frequently used on Thomas the Tank Engine.

I hope that Nadeshiko got to have a chat with Hiro before she headed home for Yamanashi.

I got a couple days off work this week and decided to go out to fully unpack and pitch the iconic yurucamp tent, the montbell moonlight 3. I wanted to look at it more in detail out of concern because the online site where it was being sold had it listed as: "flawed." I worried it'd have tears or some sort of major issue.

I wanted to set up the tent, inspect it, then re-pack it as I had a second tent to inspect and check out.

I realized late that I didn't bring a tape measure to get dimensions to give a better idea if the space inside. Will do in the near future.

.

Rin and Nadeshiko accompanied me for the occasion to enjoy the awesome weather out in Prescott Arizona this past Friday October 16th. I took some of my other gear based off the anime like the Rin's table, stove, and RAMEN!! Ramen was not pictured, but it was packed. I didn't want to draw the ire of the folks in charge of the campground by having an open flame in an area not designated to do so. I brought my bigger ultralight chair. I have another chair similar to Rin's but different color it looks more like Nadeshiko's at the end of season 1.

.

I bought a tarp to serve as the ground sheet, pitched it, and cleaned the inside of it to rid it some grass and dirt. Looked around the inside and checked the netting on both doors and all four corners. To my eye, I didn't find anything that I'd qualify as flawed or worst case scenario, damaged. On the inside of the tent, there is a small bit of seam tape that isn't fully bonded but i didn't regard it as something major and categorized it as normal wear and tear. I walked around the outside inspecting the fly sheet. Just like the tent, no issues that I could spot.

.

I'm a decent sized dude (~5'8") being inside the tent by myself still provided a lot of room for personal belongings/gear. It was nice to have a small bit of extra room outside the tent but under the rainfly where some things could be placed.

Two adult people should still fit decently, though no space for belongings inside it. Two high school teens, like our main characters should still fit fine.

Three teen or adult people would fit like a can of sardines, 3 kids should be no problem.

.

I had the tent up for about an hour before packing it up. I didn't wait to see how it'd do against stronger breezes or gusts of wind that were forecasted for the day. I got to appreciate it for a bit and will see about actually camping in it in the near future!

The very last image is of my second tent I took with me to check out.

I just started watching S3 today, and the video froze at the perfect moment. I actually thought the silence after Toba knocked the lamp over was intentional for half a minute or so. 😅

I absolutely love the anime by the way! It's so cozy and beautiful, and I love all of the characters.

Im watching laid back camp and I just dont know if I want to watch 3 seasons of this, is there episodes I could cut?

Got to attend saboten (anime con) in Phoenix arizona this year. One of the rooms had various crafts to do with drawings, coloring/painting, and in this case: Keychains. We got a plastic page and sharpies to draw, design, and color as we wished. Later found out that the plastic sheet was a shrinking plastic...

.

I used my phone to copyand draw chibi faces of the girls and chikuwa.

.

We made a hole with a hole punch, cut our designs out of the sheet and took it to a table where they had a mini toaster oven kind of thing. I didn't see it, but my sibling took my pieces and later came back with them after they'd cooled.

Was a pretty fun thing to make and now I'm considering buying materials to make some yuru camp and anime character designs for other shows I enjoy

.

All 3 of the pieces I drew where about 2 to 3 inches big and shrank down to about an inch or so. Worth looking into it you like creating and making custom things. Would recommend ultra fine sharpies to draw for more details

I've started rewatching the show and now this line can't leave my head so I made this. AI could never
