Yes, it's the name of one of the Confederate flags which is what they name Bonnie Blue after in Gone With the Wind. As a Southerner who doesn't know a whole lot about the p*rn star(?) anytime I hear "bonnie blue" I think about the flag lol

I think you guys are confused. Bonnie is a common word and even a girl's name in the UK and the phrase "bonnie blue" has other folk English precedents that independently inspired both of them eg He promised to buy me a trinket to please me, And then for a smile oh, he vowed he would tease me, He promised to bring me a bunch of blue ribbons, To tie up my bonny brown hair.

It's a girl's name in the US as well. I have an aunt Bonnie and have known several girls and women named Bonnie in my lifetime.
