Employment Law Wrongful termination
Was terminated while on workman's comp and had a heart attack with quadruple bypass. The offered no help no light duty and called cops on me for showing up to get a note for snap since I wasn't being paid. They used a venting text to my union president to terminate me. Do i have a case? Location: oklahoma

Talk with your union. Is there an option to do your job under light duty restrictions without causing an undue hardship on your employer?

Since 3/1 this year I had something happen with my back so during physical therapy I had a massive heart attack so yea talk about stressed out nothing was ever said in anger from me i just went to job so hr could show me what I needed to get snap and had sherrifs and highway patrol show up there's no police report because I didn't threaten

You exceeded your 12 weeks of FMLA (if eligible), and they couldn’t accommodate further. Your termination doesn’t sound illegal.
HR, not a lawyer

Wrongful termination isn't wrong/unfair reasons, but for protected reasons.
If there's no light duty available and your union doesn't see an issue then you can be fired for not being abled to work.
