🇳🇱 De titel zegt al veel maar hier in ieder geval wat context. Ik spreek namens mezelf, maar ook mijn medebewoners. We wonen in een DUWO studentenflat in het centrum met daar bijbehorende wasmachines. Deze wasmachines werken met een muntenautomaat waarbij het beheer door één van de bewoners wordt gedaan. Het is een héél lang verhaal, maar in het kort komt het erop neer dat de persoon in kwestie ons in een soort houtgreep houdt, waarbij we ook niet de leverancier van de wasmachines kunnen gebruiken omdat - door ditzelfde wanbeheer - er een onbetaalde rekening open staat en ons account met hen geblokkeerd is. Iemand met verstand van sloten kraken zonder al teveel geweld (we zijn bang dat we dan iets kapot maken en dan nog grotere problemen met de leverancier hebben of helemaal niet meer kunnen wassen) zou ervoor kunnen zorgen dat we in ieder geval tijdelijk weer kunnen wassen. We hebben één automaat zelf kunnen lockpicken, maar de tweede lukt ons niet. Stuur mij alsjeblieft een persoonlijk bericht als je denkt te kunnen helpen.

🇬🇧 The title says a lot, but here’s some background information anyway. I’m speaking on my own behalf, but also on behalf of my roommates. We live in a DUWO student apartment in the city center, which has its own washing machines. These washing machines operate with a coin-operated machine, which is managed by one of the residents. It’s a very long story, but in short, the person in question has us in a stranglehold, which means we can’t even use the washing machine supplier because—due to this same mismanagement—there’s an unpaid bill outstanding and our account with them has been blocked. Someone who knows how to open locks without using too much force (we’re afraid we’ll break something and end up with even bigger problems with the supplier or won’t be able to do laundry at all) could help us get our laundry going again, at least temporarily. We were able to open one machine ourselves, but we can’t get the second one open. Please send me a private message if you think you can help.

Na het urenlang te hebben gehoord word ik inmiddels gek van een soort geluid/ toon die uit ik denk het centrum van de stad komt. Het komt van buiten, als ik het raam open doe dan wordt het harder. Het gaat ook heen en weer qua hardheid. Weet iemand wat dit is en liever nog wanneer het ophoudt, ik heb er hoofdpijn van.

I haven´t played football in a while, but never lost the love for it. I would really like to get back into it and casually play with other people, just for the fun of it. I´m not looking for anything serious or competitive, simply having a good time and meeting people.

I know that ESN used to have a football club; is that still going? Football factory seems quite competitive from what I´ve heard, and I´m really not looking for something I have to earn my spot at.

Hello everyone, I bought the 10-ticket pass to LIFF (each ticket is €12 instead of €13.50). My plan was to sell them to my friends, but it seems like people are busier than expected and the films are selling out fast. But there are still plenty of good films available for this week.

Er loopt nu een zwerver zonder schoenen op leiden centraal. Hij is best wel bekend, volgens mij had hij hele lange tijd maar 1 schoen maar loopt nu op geen. Ik zou hem willen helpen en een goedkoop paar schoenen geven maar tegelijkertijd vind ik een beetje eng om hem aan te spreken. Weet iemand hoe benaderbaar hij is en hoe hij is? Hij is nu weer weg dus kan hem nu ook niet benaderen maar zou graag willen weten of mensen ervaring met hem hebben.

Hi everyone, does anyone want a free sofa? I bought a new one and it has already arrived, and it is a bit cramped in here.

It was bought in 2020 and it is around 240x86cm.

The covers are removable, as you can see in pic 5.

Everything was recently cleaned (in a washing machine), but as you can see in pics 6 and 7, the arms still show some stains. They would be better cleaned by one of those machines, which I don't have.

It is a very comfortable sofa and it served us well, now it is ready for a new house.

Whoever is interested, please contact me.

I am making this post to ask for recommendations from people that have been here a while and might be able to compare my current options or provide better ones.

I am living ten minutes away from the central station and the options that I have for supermarkets are Aldi, Jumbo (near the station), Dirk and AH (which I can order online as it is not always on my way till I get a bike). What is your experience with them if you have been in them for a while?

I am also curious about meat quality. I am definitely on a tight budget, but I am wondering if there are any butchers in the area that might offer better quality meat (chicken and mince) for around the same price.

Je hoeft natuurlijk niet precies dezelfde interesses te hebben. Ik vind het juist leuk om nieuwe dingen te ontdekken. 😊
