Personally great news can’t wait just hope they come back to the UK!

I was just spinning the original pressing when the 10th anniversary got delivered.

We only need 3 more Albums and Gay Thoughts EP if it ever becomes available in the shop. Praying City Club anniversary tour to make it to New Mexico 🙏🏽

thinking of going dressed up but don’t want to be the only one!

Can someone confirm, is this THE city clurb? I was parked in DTLA infront of a strip club. Is this it?!?!

Need Natural Affair to complete my collection but will probably wait for the (hopefully) 10 year re-release. Might pick up Casual Acquaintances but not actively seeking it. (Gay thoughts 7” is also on my list.)

Natural affair came in today I think I have all the cassettes now!

Waited about three weeks for this to ship but 7 years to get the album, insanely happy!

Haven't stopped listening to it since it dropped, such a great song.

Emailed them last week trying to figure out when the CC vinyl will ship. They just responded with this!

Has anyone’s city club vinyl shipped? I reached out to the company haven’t heard anything.

Just for fun. Post your Growlers "origin story" or how you discovered The Growlers.

I first became aware of them when they opened for the Black Keys at the Palladium in L.A. back in 2010. Went home and began downloading some of their songs. It was around the time when Hot Tropics was released. I remember immediately loving their sound and feeling like this was a band that had been missing from my life. Some of my initial favorite songs included "What it is," "Old Cold River," and "Sea Lion Goth Blues." I also enjoyed their surfer/slacker/DIY aesthetic.

17 years later, and many shows later, I saw them play the Greek Theater about a week ago.

I got this from Matt after a Casbah show in San Diego. It may have been in 2014? I have no idea. The sticker I got from Brooks and it's signed on the back by him. From when they played Beauty Bar in San Diego. Maybe 20 people were there. Only Greatest Shits and Are You In or Out was just released I think. I've seen the OG band maybe 5x? Met all the guys and helped them carry their equipment to the Fur Sure bus while rolling lol. Met Paz L. of A Perfect Circle at Beauty Bar cause her band Entrance Band was playing as an opener for Growlers. We struck up a small online friendship and talked a little here and there. The OG shows were so fun. Been a fan since Greatest Shits cause I had a work homie who would sing their songs non stop and he burned me a copy which afaik was the only way to get it back then. Like 2009? Idk. I saw Brooks last year in Asheville. No hate just wasn't the same. But that's life! Glad he's still doing it. Their music will always have a special place for me. Happy Sunday keep rockin everybody.

Been obsessed with Nosebleed Sun recently its so simple but so good. Also enjoy Pavement and The Boot

Curious about who dide what, aside of vocals. Was it before they switched the line up or is it with Stonio and Scott?

The Growlers Instagram story claims that there is a City Club redux coming out next week. Assuming this might consist of mixes we haven’t heard before. Anybody know anything more about this?

had a fucking blast, 8th time seeing brooks and def diggin his new band. can't wait for them to come back 😮‍💨🖤🥡 ALSO I GOT MY NUCLEAR VEST SIGNED LETS FUCKING GO

crazy to see Anthony in this one. its weird because I think he wasn’t too involved in the making of city club. I’ve heard he’s been struggling but I hope he’s doing well and that it’s just a rumor. I love the demo too really has that old Growlers sound even older sounding than Chinese Fountain’s stuff makes me wonder when they recorded it.

Didn’t realize the 10yr would be so hard to come by. Would have scooped some for you guys had I known. Any idea on the number for the re-release?

Shoutout Walmart for the cheap frames! Got my setlists and Castro poster frames! Gonna get these up soon!

cant wait to hear it at midnight and im really praying they release more of these city club demos. casual has been my favorite album since it was released and it being the B sides to city club, this sound really hits different for me. is anyone else geeking out this hard?? i love hearing alt versions to my favorite songs and i want to hear all of city club demo'd out i cant even imagine
