Lore House of Edain

All though the Edain didn't have long lifespan like their descendants in Numenor, were they already stronger both physically and in will power compared to ordinary men in the Third Age?

The Edain gained in skill and learning from their association with the Eldar in Beleriand. Not necessarily bigger and stronger, but wiser and more learned.

Maybe not like Gondor’s, but it’s stated in the Silmarillion that "The years of the Edain were lengthened, according to the reckoning of Men, after their coming to Beleriand", so their average lifespan increased after their contact with the Eldar, and Beor was called “the Old” when he died at 93.

That increased lifespan isn’t necessarily due to a special blessing like the Numenoreans, but likely because of better living conditions.
