I just realized the punchline to that meme

His job is to filter abnormalities

Holy shit I'm late to the party

13

u/Tay60003 Jul 03 '26

YOU’RE RIGHT HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT

11

u/VividView4498 Jul 03 '26

Oh I thought it was the hormone making part of your brain, and the new one was supposed represent estrogen when you usually make testosterone

u/R3D0IT_US3R Jul 04 '26

Bro got the woke mind virus smh my head my head

8

u/dandadone_with_life Jul 03 '26

this gif syncs perfectly with the song

12

u/Successful_Mud8596 Jul 03 '26

this doesn't sync up with the music :/

7

u/Kiwi8_Fruit6 Jul 03 '26

huh. it does for me

6

u/Mikeologyy Jul 04 '26

It’s very close to the same bpm, but not quite exactly, so if you watch it long enough it gets out of sync

3

u/Kiwi8_Fruit6 Jul 04 '26

...oh yeah i see it now

the beat starts with the hat landing, and after a few seconds it's when the hat starts dropping from the dispenser

still better than how quickly most car blinkers get out of sync

4

u/Mikeologyy Jul 04 '26

I’ve actually been wanting to figure out my car blinker’s exact bpm so I can make a driving playlist that only plays songs that match it. Haven’t gotten around to it though.

2

u/Banan_Cat Jul 03 '26

The gif is on beat with the music from the post.

2

u/No_Membership9550 Jul 08 '26

Why is it synced with the music

I always thought that lyrics were about fate and that they get together tlby fate... Could you tell me what part in the song is sad?

u/Milk_Mindless Jul 03 '26

There’s a person in it too? I only know the duck

333

u/tool-in-jacket Jul 03 '26

The girl is the duck, she’s a vtuber from hololive, ppl often joke that she’s a duck given how her voice sounds occasionally like one

89

u/lightow Jul 03 '26

ppl often joke that she’s a duck given how her voice sounds occasionally like one

It happened so often in her chat, she began to doubt her identity.

I'm OOTL, what happened to HoloTori? 😭

3

u/anxietycucumbers Jul 03 '26

Mumei graduation I assume but maybe just forgotten or bts drama.

2

u/Ignika1984 Jul 03 '26

It’s a mixture of Mumei graduating and Hololive not doing much to support the group

When your friends have different vibes but you still fw each other:

38

u/Heavy_Computer2602 Jul 03 '26 edited Jul 03 '26

Good video, good animation, good song but depressing song

Literally in the music video they just literally say "yall just love the song aint paying no attention to the lyrics"

This and "Americana" by the offspring, and "Way down the line" by the offspring

Upbeat sounding songs that are wayy dark

10

u/Whyamihere173 Jul 03 '26

“The kids aren’t alright” by the offspring counts too

4

u/Heavy_Computer2602 Jul 03 '26

Definetly.

"Change the world" aswell. I mean the tone makes feel a bit gritty and a bit depressing but it just seems like a party song on the surface regardless

"Inner logic" by bad religion however, is pretty much an anti corporatism and anti authoritarian. But the tone of the song doesnt seem to undermine that shit.

Funny how way down the line was featured in crazy taxi

3

u/MVRKHNTR Jul 03 '26

This is the second time I've seen someone in the comments here exaggerate Andre 3000's AAVE and accent and it's real weird

A lot of songs do that, especially in Japan. “Yoru Ni Kakeru” by Yoasobi is one of my favorites.

2

u/GhoulTimePersists Jul 03 '26

I like the part where they shake it.

2

u/LG3V Jul 03 '26

I don't watch vtubers, the most I've watched are the occasional clips of Rin Penrose since she's friends with RT Game, but Subaru with the duck os so silly it's endearing

I love these two. They're just vibing 🥰
