Yeah and the biiiig difference in this case is that in Dutch you'd use 'wat nu' instead of 'wat nou'. The second option isn't even all that incorrect, it just sounds impolite. Source: am Dutch and used to think this was a pic of a Dutch newspaper (I never read the body text though that's definitely Afrikaans)

i was gonna say, in some parts of the netherlands ''wat nou'' is used commonly but in writing it's ''wat nu'' more often
