Back when rage faces were still cool. Although I think they were on the way out by 2011.

5

u/Agent_Waffle 10d ago

Damn. I was 10 when that meme was made, and now I'm halfway through my twenties. 15 years really flies by I guess.

38

u/Bugs1205 10d ago

For those curious Raven is from Tales of Vesperia

16

u/Galle_ 10d ago

Also Link is from The Legend of Zelda

(Happy to help the, like, five people who don't know that)

2

u/rocketrobie2 10d ago

I thought that was Zelda

Bind of isaac had a trend of this going on! Even a subreddit for it was formed

r/drawthisastboi

Here's one for example

3

u/Megaseb1250 10d ago

and it reddit made it a reply instead of a separate comment! Sure. Whatever.

23

u/A_True_Loot_Goblin 10d ago

The low quality makes it better, and skill doesn’t matter so long as the intent and care is there

15

u/Drillbitzer 10d ago

Well anyone who plays it is canonically gay as confirmed by Edmund β€œTrash Farm” McMillen himself

6

u/Force_Glad 10d ago

Can confirm, I played the game and now I'm gay

u/dragonlord798 10d ago

u/IceWallowDeesNuts 10d ago

I’m cackling at this because I’m trying so hard to figure out who would be who in this situation.

Because ultimately all of them would work depending on what part of the fandom you ask

22

u/zatenael 10d ago

I think it's meant to be Rogue on top of Shadow as Eggman watches

who the fuck is nuke???

229

u/No-Baseball7295 Transfem 10d ago

there's a meme in the russian deltarune fandom that gaster is going to nuke hometown

57

u/Daved__ 10d ago

Guess he's gonna make it a nuketown, huh?

28

u/Force_Glad 10d ago

Gotta love the Russian deltarune fandom. Everything that makes it out into the wider fandom from there is utterly deranged

9

u/f_en_elchat 10d ago

Is Gaster Kenjaku?!????!?!

28

u/Random-Watchman 10d ago

possibly just a nuke

Proof that people need to be specific on requests. Otherwise someone is gonna have too much fun

39

u/MCplayer331 10d ago

Also proof that people need to be vague on requests so someone can have a lot of fun

9

u/frisch85 10d ago

Unless you just like messing wit your friends, no requests needed, just too much time on your hands like this guy had (and fortunately so).

There used to be really good stories on 4chan with shit like that.

3

u/I_like_licking_lead 9d ago

Idk why but the way krypto is standing gives me Joel haver skit vibes

19

u/Atila_Vega 10d ago

These are called curi memes

18

u/Alternative_Rice7896 10d ago

Heck yeah I love when people do this too

See in my head I heard "I'm falling"

3

u/Le-plant-boi 10d ago

29

u/Kinosa07 10d ago

I'd call it unclear targetting. But it IS hilarious

7

u/majinkomori 10d ago

I love malicious compliance

That dear friend, its the magic of a Curi

7

u/GonzaloCR25 10d ago

It's calles curi Momo

17

u/ElMostaza 10d ago

Can someone explain the last one to me? The cat person isn't being picked up, and also the normal person is...full of gold coins?

40

u/Different_Heron9151 10d ago

The joke is they do the reverse of expected. As for the "coins", the yellow guy is Flowery from Deltarune, and his internal organs are flowers

11

u/Ohmistersun_ 10d ago

not gold coins, petals, because he's a flower person

11

u/AshirNazar 10d ago

In delta rune, he gets cut in half at one point. This is referencing that.

5

u/TheMusicGuy27 10d ago

the normal person is flowery from deltarune. he is a flower that got in a human form on the dark world, a kind of alternate reality in the game

3

u/ConcentratedADHDBeam 10d ago

The normal person is being torn in half. His guts are flowers

1

u/Hitei00 9d ago

This is a genuine question. How did you look at the first image, where someone asking for "Superman and Krypto" doing the meme with positions reversed and then scroll to the second example and get confused by the catgirl NOT being the one getting picked up?

7

u/Domichu1998 10d ago

Does someone know if there is a reversed version of the first image? With Superman as the guy and Krypto as the dog?

11

u/isuckhips 10d ago

Just read the comics at that point.

2

u/Domichu1998 9d ago

Have any suggestions? I read all-star, birthright and the newer issues of Superman during Prime Time

3

u/isuckhips 9d ago

Yeah, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?

Is that the one by Alan Moore? I think I've heard of it

5

u/Valuable_Victory_271 10d ago

https://www.reddit.com/r/JamesFridman/

James Fridman does this with photoshop

5

u/SurnameFormer 10d ago

Is is it ALL Deltarune?

4

u/DatOneMinuteman1776 kill 7 billion obscurantists 10d ago

Nuh uh, the first one was Superman

2

u/Platypus-Olive-27 10d ago

Deltarune has the r/drawthisasdeltarune2 subreddit, so it's a massive exporter of meme redraws

2

u/WeekendLost5566 10d ago

Good ol curi momos

2

u/CheapTechGuy 10d ago

I know those as "curimomos"/"curis"

1

u/host_can_edit 10d ago

This is like the artist equivalent of Jame Fridman posts.

"he's a little confused, but he got the spirit" (I think that's how it goes idk)

1

u/theblackcanaryyy 10d ago

idk if anyone will remember this, but there used to be a genre where people would draw art/cartoons that led to hilarious or adorable gifs or even just whatever was super popular at the time. You mostly didn’t see it coming and it was always good fun. Man. 2012 was a good year.Β

1

u/Shotgunne_12 10d ago

This is called a Curi

1

u/HostNo1089 9d ago

Can anyone send me the original image with the flying dog

1

u/No_Membership9550 10d ago

Its a curi, but with positions switched
