General Discussion Cards I think should’ve been in the Labyrinth secret lair.
Hoggle as Norin- Personally I think it fits who he was for most of the movie and I’d love for the flavor text to include, “I’m a coward and Jereth scares me.”
Food coma- Obviously the scene where Hoggle gives Sarah the peach.
Lorin Disciple of history- The junk lady, just think it would’ve been awesome to see her on some art. Also that scene was the second scariest to me as a kid.
Time of need- I really think it would be cool if this was redesigned and named after the ending scene “If you need us” I think it would’ve been awesome.
Oubliette- the obvious pick the flavor text could’ve been, “Oh don't act so smart. You don't even know what an oubliette is.”

I think Jareth not simply being [[Goblin King]] was the biggest miss, but man Oubliette was a layup too.

They learned their lesson from the Evil Dead SL that if you're reskinning existing cards for a SL, any major named characters should be reskins of legendary creatures. [[Ash, Destined Survivor]] not being legendary is one of the biggest dropped balls of that SL. There's no way they weren't making a Jareth you can run as your commander.

Holy hell, I never realized goblin king wasn’t legendary…

Never looked at it too hard. Put it in my Krenko deck and forgot about it.

Many cards older than the legendary supertype were legendary, they just used "legend" as the creature type, which is understandably very odd by modern standards.

Goblin King is even older than that. Legends didn't exist until, well, Legends.

Yeah that was surprising to me. Especially since we got ‘The cleaners’ as leveler.

It is honestly insane to me that they didn’t do Oubliette. I’ll never understand.

Wish they also would’ve given us some gobo tokens in the Jereth secret lair

Do we know what the bonus cards are yet? Because I could easily see Oubliette being a bonus card.

I thought it was ‘The labyrinth’ maze of ith. That you only got if you spend 200$

That's the bonus card for spending a certain amount on the drop. Individual SLs also get a bonus card. A lot of times it'll be a random promo card that has nothing to do with the drop, but UB SLs will often have a unique bonus card in addition to the advertised ones.

It has only ever seen play in mono black in pauper and that deck has fallen to 0.1% of the meta game now.

It's a great removal spell in Commander, one of few ways to actually remove a commander so they can't recast it

EDHREC has it at 0.8% of black decks. I would consider something like [[snuff out]] (3.9%) or [[dismember]] (3.2%) to be great removal spells. It can be good in specific play groups (like ones low on interaction or that tend towards very long games) or specific commanders (like devotion or enchantment ones), but I think it is quite niche. There is great single target creature removal at 2 mana ([[infernal grasp]],[[gitter triumph]]), more flexible removal at 3 with no downsides ([[maelstrom pulse]],[[vindicate]]), or removal at 3 that deal with multiple threats ([[ashes to ashes]], [[fire covenant]]).
