Ive had long hair for a decade now so im attached to it and would like some second opinions

I like the stache but got to know

Ive been growing my hair out. I like the idea of long hair but have never had the patience to grow it out. Anytime I've had it long I've cut it for maintenance issues. I like short hair too so I stick to it most the time. I hate the awkward phase so I just avoid having long hair even though I wish I had it. What do you think. Should I just stick to the short?

haven't had a substantial haircut in 10 odd years

I have been clean shaven for years and as of few months ago I now am able to grow facial hair and was wondering if the clean shaven, full beard, or mustache and goatee is a better look?

Obviously I can shave into a goatee, but that's what my father does all the time and it makes me look just like him.

First time growing a beard, and this is the longest I've gotten it so far. Grow it out more, keep it like this, or shave it?
