Salary range in Malmo

Hi ,

I am currently in the process of relocating to Sweden and have an interview lined up for a PHP Developer position. I have 6 years of experience.

From the research I've done, i found the range to be around 47,000 - 50,000 SEK per month.

Is this accurate for someone with my experience level? The role is located in Malmo.

I work in the games industry, so tech adjacent. That range sounds about right to me. When you’re nearing 10 years of experience you should grow to the upper 50s.

Not much difference these days between 6 years or 16 years. You'll probably be using AI to write code and even review code.

I'd move that range to 50k SEK minimum up to 60k SEK.

I would definitely ask for 60k, and that's possible. I had a salary of 60k at ikea as software engineer with 6 years of experience
