Yuri's body wasn't shown, so there's a slight chance that he's alive... maybe Leo can break him out once he finds where he is

For those who didnt remember Kato:
He was the one who met Ryu Tyler directly in chapter 1 and convinced him to take the civilian exam.
He reappear as news breaker about Ryu's death to the Tyler family, with Yuri in chapter 2.
He is also mentioned to be North Point Academy Headmaster (dont rmb the chapter). North Point is mentioned a lot as the rivals to East Point, with the vice chancellor keeps bringing it up. Chapter 35 also mentioned a genius student from North Point who could potentially be rival/enemy to Leo.
In chapter 34, the vice chancellor was scheming the Lunar mass incident with someone higher up from MOB, and based off silhouette, I guessed it was him since then.

So Singh said Leo’s too trusting and gives him one more push, wonder if it’s not actually this new guy that sent his dad to the moon but someone else, and he’s sending Leo onto him for another reason? Maybe only the “he’s on the moon” part is true?
Or Singh could be still trying to groom Leo into being loyal to him so it could be true? He did admit to killing his dad and Leo doesn’t hate him still
This arcs been really good and we’ve barely touched on the proud man and David’s dad plot, and loving how unpredictable it’s been so far

Leo was right about Singh’s weakness, but he underestimated it. From what I can tell, it’s not so much as a decline of energy, but rather an immediate drop with drawbacks. Think of DBZ’s Kaio-Ken, where the minute Goku stopped using it initially, it caused great pain to him.

Singh's words lean more towards someone trying to climb the highest level of the Organization. Maybe to reform the Organization. But his way of saying Leo failed and the implied handling of Yuri showed that he is in truth more focused on gaining power for himself.

So the recruiter in the very beginning that set Leo's dad up with joining is responsible for all this. Interesting stuff

I think that’s a bit too narrow. Leo is a gifted kid. I would not be surprised if his entire existence was a Xanatos’ Gambit for someone at this point. The question remains is who he will align with?

Yea, Kato seems like the final big bad. I was theorising him to be the silhouette in chapter 34.
Although might be not, seeing how he is also the headmaster of North Point, and there might be a North Point vs East Point arc in the future, seeing how chapter 35 mentioned a prodigy in North Point that rivals Leo

"I have a goal."
Well, yeah, doesn't everyone?
"I want a replacement who's a skilled pilot and loyal to me. But you failed."
Why the fuck would he be loyal to you? You just said you killed his dad.
"And the fault doesn't lie with me alone."
Well, it kind of does, because you're the person who killed him, but regarding circumstances beyond that, that's also obvious because you work for the government. I assumed you had orders, or at the very least were acting within your authority.
"There's another man responsible, he's living on the moon now."
Just one? I thought this was what the whole bureau does - build up promising soldiers and then kill them "in the line of duty" to make propaganda based on heroic sacrifices. I thought Leo's goal was to take down the entire TRU. Am I misremembering?
"And he's rising through the ranks fast."
How is someone who wasn't already high-ranked responsible for Leo's dad's death? Were you not acting on orders? Were you acting orders from someone lower ranked than you?
Someone, please tell me this isn't just me. Surely this at least seems strange to someone else, right?

Yeah I didn't vibe with this chapter at all. I don't think I'll keep reading this manga tbh.

I love all of the conflicted emotions Leo's got now. Especially how he feels disappointed in himself for being rejected by Singh despite Singh murdering his dad. Singh being able to manipulate Leo's group through Yuri's phone is scary; unless they cotton on, he could set them up for elimination at any time.

Didn't expect Kato was from way back from chapter 1. Too bad Witch Watch just did something similar with foreshadow/red herring recently that point back to chapter 1 page 1 so that record is almost impossible to break already. (unless we wanna count chapter 0 or one-shot version for any manga)

Who is this man indeed because I don't remember seeing him, lol?
Although expected, I'm still a little bummed that Leo can't bring himself to hate Singh for killing his dad. And poor Yuri gets killed off-screen.

Oh great, another nutjob.
Yuri’s cooked.
