Discussion Two people who literally LOST EVERYTHING and STILL chose to do good..

Post image

There are countless characters that went through challenges, but none like them.

I will forever look up to these two individuals for what they have always done. No matter what they went through, they still chose the right path.

Thor has endured so much death and carnage, again and again, but at least he's always still had people who care about him. Peter was left utterly alone, with no support structure whatsoever.

Plus Thor is a God, he knows he will be living a long life and eventually have to watch some of his loved ones die, he has better mental strength but Peter on the other hand was thrown into the fight.

I'd argue it was worse because of exactly this

Thor wouldn't have expected his godly parents and brother to die given how they're basically immortal

Is it clarified what exactly Odin died of? My impression from the movie was 'natural causes, god-style' more or less.

But there's a difference between that vague knowledge, and losing basically his entire family, his home, and his beloved weapon in what is roughly equivalent to a week for him.
