Your so right . I remembered this guy too and have seen him a million times since I’ve watched it over and over again. 😂. You can really see the horror in his eyes when there’s a chance we are going to be reeled in and the whole thing going up in smoke . Thankfully it didn’t though. That few second image of him captured every mayo person watching that day. Glorious stuff

Very intense look, as you would expect. Love the way the coverage cuts to him after the final whistle and he’s belting out the green and red 😀😀🥳

Very niche but I actually remember thinking the same thing. Jarlath Duffy is his name I’m nearly sure. Superintendent in Wexford but originally from Mayo I think.
