Help! How does it look?

Post image

This has been bottled for about 6 months now. First batch I’ve made.

Is this residue sitting on top of the liquid standard?

looks like a little yeast or wax that floated up, pretty normal for a first batch. if it smells fine and tastes fine, you're good

Interesting. i got this on some blueberry cider i made. I assumed it was strings of pectin. Looked identical to this, kind of like the smoke that would float to the top of the ceiling when people smoked inside.

Even picking up and moving the bottle was enough to dissipate this, and the cider tasted fine. So not sure now, since yours doesn't have any fruit in it.
