Feels pretty special to get 3 awesome releases in 1 day

Mother of Graves - The Light That Keeps Us
Iapetus - The Mother Void

Insomnium - Netherworlds

3 Albums I've been hanging to hear for a while and have ordered on vinyl, but will take a while to get to Australia.

Caught the Mother of Graves listening party earlier in the week, awesome album.

Insomnium is really solid and Iapetus may be my AOTY at this stage.

I didn't have Iapetus or MoG on my radar, thanks for the heads up!

I'll just have to pull myself away from the From Ashes Reborn release that I picked up this week (came out in march).

Fuck yes, the first full song, “THE MOTHER VOID,” from Iapetus is a real banger. It gives me goosebumps. I’m now excited for the rest.

Yep it came out of nowhere for me. Appeared on my YouTube feed when they released the single, clicked it because of Fabienne who I liked from Eluveitie and was blown away. Their previous album is brilliant too.

Really enjoying Insomnium so far. I've loved the singles - Gleam in the Black is such a banger. Thanks for the other recommendations!

Insomnium didn't leave me with a great impression, kinda missing the melancholic aspects of the band on this album. Will try the others too, and let's not forget about Shores Of Null!

Definitely gonna jam Mother of Graves and Insomnium this weekend. The MoG singles were very promising, the Insomnium singles not so much, but either way stoked for some new tunes

I was listening to the new insomnium yesterday. I need to listen to it more, it's really not what I'm used to with their sound. But something was grabbing me about them.

Damn ..after insominums singles, I had high hopes. The rest of the album is eh.

First listen while driving home. The banished stood out. The hour draws late was weird but it might have just been my shitty headset.

Need a few more listens. I skipped the singles because ice listened them to death as they are very good.
