Heltec Vision Master T190 with a full-colour screen and custom button-driven Meshtastic interface.

The first working bench version of my button-controlled Meshtastic handheld is up and running on a Heltec Vision Master T190.
The buttons now navigate the menus, and I can compose and send messages from the device. The screen shows the node world, inbox, channel, and signal info. I’m going for a colourful, pixel-art, NES-inspired look.
It’s still a bench prototype. I’m fixing some font spacing, text collisions, and emoji rendering before moving on to the finished enclosure.

Following. I have a vision master t190 and I'd like it to utilize the screen like this as well

You can flash it the same as me. Whether you want to add buttons or not. I’ll share a link. 🤓

I’d love to know how you like it and if you find any issues but I think it’s solid now!

Great concept, I didn’t know about this Heltek but thanks for the inspiration. Will work on my own adapted version of MUI for a communicator using this module.
