Appropriate outerwear for Milan at the end of October?
I’ve been living in Spain so my understanding of temperature and weather has completely scattered lol. I’m still going out in shorts here during daytime but need a hoodie/light jacket for the evenings. What will I need for Milan next weekend (Oct 24-25) if I’m planning to be outside from around 10 am to 8 pm? Do I need a padded down jacket or would a sweatshirt + leather jacket suffice? Many thanks!

Just check weather forecast for temperatures…even in Spain if u are in Barcelona is completely different than being in San Sebastián, no?
It basically depends by how u dress normally, but a light jacket and an umbrella should cover u…if it gets cooler…u can always buy heavier sweat locally🙄

Sweatshirt leather jacket is fine! Don’t forget an umbrella as apparently will rain Sunday. I’m still just in a jumper but moved here from UK 🤣

Light (warm and waterproof jacket) and long sleeve cotton jumper + trousers will do.

Vestiti a strati per non sudare: t shirt, pile 140gr con zip completa da poter tenere aperto e soft shell. La mattina e la sera fa fresco e umido, di giorno si sta bene.

It’s still pretty warm when we go there last 4 times and we go late October early November

It's still nice during the day. I'm wearing a t-shirt with a light cardigan/sweater on top that I can remove if I get hot. But when the sun sets you might need a light jacket.

100% of Milanese wear either a leather jacket or a K-Way in October once the weather cools.

I don't think it's easy to know. Some years you can go with a hoodie and shorts, some years it's 10 degrees in the evening and you need a padded jacket.
This time it looks like a leather jacket would be okay
