Do u dont wanna Amazon has stopped delivering to us

Post image

My wife used order a lot from Amazon. Living in a tiny town without many shopping options it was quick and convenient, but about six months ago things started being late by weeks or simply marked lost. I rarely order from Amazon and we hadn’t discussed it, so when I order some shelves a month ago I assumed they’d be delivered on time, but they were so late I eventually cancelled and got a refund. Apparently my wife is been having this problem regularly and only receives one out of maybe ten orders. I ordered some thermal labels and photo album corners and I guess I have to find them somewhere else. It will say the item has shipped, then go to a distributor about sixty miles away then just be marked lost or delayed until we ask for refund. I didn’t realize it was every order until I mentioned to my wife that my labels hadn’t come and I keep forgetting to check the order update. I guess being a rural address they just don’t want to deliver here anymore.

Yeah I live in the middle of nowhere PA, always had 2 day shipping via USPS. Recently things started to come via there own shipping, now it's usually 5-8 days. I think the nearest Amazon hub is like 3.5 hours from me, I've been wondering how the hell any of this makes sense

u/Nkechinyerembi I AM MODERATELY UPSET BY THESE EVENTS. Aug 29 '26

Exactly the story here, they deliver with their own thing now, and ever since then, it takes about 2-3 weeks to get any item. It's almost like they just send someone out to deliver to our area once every couple of weeks. If you order things that should show up in that time frame, it will often show up along with items you ordered a week prior.

REALLY sucks since the only shopping option in my town is Dollar General.

My problem isn’t as bad as y’alls, but I’m frustrated as well. I have a distribution point 30 minutes away. Any time a package is routed through there, it’s guaranteed to take 3-5 DAYS to get to me. The package will arrive at that point at 3:00 am, iI’ll get a delivery notice that it’s coming that day, and then another notice that it’s been delayed. I wont get any tracking info for 3-5 days until it’s out for delivery again. 75-85% of my packages are now late and delayed.

I live just north of NoPA in the southern tier of NY. We just got a dedicated Amazon delivery driver, albeit he's using his personal vehicle, just last year. We had tons of issues with getting packages. The Amazon hubs near me are in Bath, Rochester, and Buffalo. If my packages come out of Buffalo or Rochester, they're usually 2 days behind. If they come out of Bath, they're delivered usually 1-2 days after ordering now.

If there is anyone is OPs area that does gig work and owns a truck or SUV, Amazon Flex is how to get yourself a local delivery person.

I don't understand this at all. I live in Idaho. The whole state is rural. We have a distribution center within a mile of city limits.
