this is obviously a play on how AI constantly gets shit like this wrong in pictures.

I’m baffled that thousands of people aren’t understanding this. They ironically have the same lack of critical thinking skills that leads people to using AI for simple things like the alphabet, they’ve just expressed it differently.

It's crazy - everyone in the thread is making fun of her. Wtf is going on lol?

Somebody basically said no wonder she’s a cleaner and that’s one of the top comments on here. The hell kind of thing is that to say?!

The woman in the video made a follow up post explaining that she thought it would be a funny joke and didn't expect it to blow up like this.

She posted proof a few days ago of people sending her death threats, lots of people using the booking form on her website to harass her with no intention of booking her, people wishing her harm or ill will in general.

It's messed up to keep this posted with her user uncensored.

It’s clearly a joke about how LLMs get simple things wrong, such as the alphabet. It went over your head and everyone is just taking their anger towards AI out on this poor woman who made quite a clever joke, honestly.

For now but this will be reality. Think I'm wrong? Ask around how many folks use a calculator to calculate 10% or 20% of another number.

We will get dumber, idiocracy was once satiric but remember, Trump is president now and AI will help making the people dumb because you'll unlearn the skills you don't use on a regular basis and if people think it's more convenient spending a minute or so to ask their phone instead of using their brain for a moment then knowledge will be lost in the long run, there's probably gonna be some shit like "Knights of the algebra" that will keep on studying the old ways...

I agree on everything but I don't think the calculator thing is the best example. I'd rather use my brain to do complex things (or just enjoy my life) than spend time learning how to do 20% of 659,7 quicker than the time it takes to type it on a device and get a result

Usually you do the 10% or 20% of tips right? So an estimate is fine and 10% is just the easiest there is, for your number that'd be 65,97 and then just multiply by 2 it's that easy.

I don't think you get the result faster by taking out your phone or a calc, typing in the numbers and asking for the result.

If you're saying you need to get 13,5% of something or similar then sure I'm with you, use a device just to be sure but 10, 20, 30 % etc. are just too easy to use a device.

I live in a country where waiters are paid by their employer, so I never had to compute a tip. The only context I could've encountered such calculations is in engineering class or at earlier school levels.

For me it takes less than 10s to pull out my phone and enter the calculation. On my computer it would take me probably something like 3s.

I'm not even close to those times if I wanna do it manually. The only exceptions would be 10% or if there are no carry. Like yeah 30% of 22 is instant. But for a number like my example I don't see the point
