There's a video of someone singing it a few years back, it's even more painful to hear it because it's so out of tune.

Thank god we have Miss Rachel who teaches the normal (correct) version of ABC's and I will fight anyone who hates her.

She's awesome for a lot of reasons. I think she's just trying to make the world a better place.

Anyone who can hate on her is just a straight up piece of shit.

I do not know her but I have heard I am supposed to hate her. So I do not.

Do not hate her, she is one of the good ones. If someone feels like they should hate her, they are not a good person.

She's against kids being bombed, and for some reason that makes people really angry

Miss Rachel and her songs have been such a wonderful tool for me as a parent.

I mean, look, I cannot stand her, but I am not a small child and I recognize that small children love her and am totally okay with that. I won't watch it with my children, but they definitely watch it on their own!

I mean, you should watch content with your children. You should know what they are watching as it can give you points to talk about and allow you to focus on important principles even if it as simple as Miss Rachel. For example: there is a swimming part in one of her videos and she talks about not going in the water without a parent. As someone in Florida with a pool loving child, we used that part to drive home the importance until my husband and I feel comfortable with him swimming by himself which probably wont happened for 10 years.

Out of tune? Do you mean the wrong rhythm?

The British guy in the park?

It's the same tune and actually sounds so much smoother and makes sense... but OK. Why are humans so scared of change?

u/theghostmachine Sep 02 '26

Because change is stupid and dumb. So is this new song. So are you.

It's actually helping kids with confusion and thinking "and" is a letter between Y and Z. And clearing up the whole elemenohpee thing. You sound like a boomer

I was joking

But seriously, I've never heard of a kid having any of these problems. It has to be something new. I don't care though, I have no dog in this fight. My kids are past that age so whatever works for everyone else is totally fine

Also I'm 40.
