Standing to order is always my bar for tips, if I’m standing there’s no tip, if I get my order taken while sitting down then I tip. Still think tipping is stupid but I’m also not trying to fuck regular people over trying to make a living. The exception is drinks, in which case it’s almost always a dollar.
Depends: If it's a specialty cocktail or I make a substitution like gin instead of rum in a mojito then I'll tip my normal percentage. If it's a tap beer and I tried a couple first or got a recommendation then I'll usually tip $1 or $2. If it's something like a White Claw or bottled beer that I asked for by name and they just opened then generally not. Wedding open bar? If they're funny and quick I'll toss 'em $5 per visit to the bar, couple bucks if not.
If you order standing up typically you don’t have a drink brought to you, and you only have your food brought to you. Vs sitting down your taken to your table by a hostess, and you get drinks and food brought to you, as well as the server periodically checking on you through out your meal. Where as if you are ordering at the counter, you self serve drinks and only your food gets brought, or you go and get your own food from the counter.
As for the difference between that and alcoholic drinks, I can’t exactly say there is a particular reason other than that’s what’s expected. It makes more sense if your getting some kind of mixed drink, but just for beer canned or draught it doesn’t make a ton of sense but I still do it anyways because bar tenders (last I checked) generally make similar wages as a server where they get paid a tipped wage as opposed to primarily making money from hourly. ~2.50 as opposed to likely closer to $25 and likely more if they work a busy bar.
On a seperate note from that I don’t tip for drinks at stadiums, partially because they are expensive enough as is, and they also primarily serve food so they make money via hourly not tipped wages.

And they’re standing to order… there’s no waiter or anything
